A third leg on which a church stands is sharing support and fellowship among one another. The latter is done weekly through after-church coffee and snacks and 1^st, 3^rd, and 5th Tuesdays “Men’s Breakfast”, and the 2^nd and 4th Thursdays of the month Women’s Coffee Hour.  We care for one another and support one another in part through pastoral care, calls, and visits, and in part through mutual support. Our monthly 4^th Sunday movie of the month beginning at noon. Movie, discussion, and popcorn are open to all.

The pastor’s Bible Study, the basic theme of which is “The Bible Is NOT for Dummies,” a study that seeks to read the Bible for all it has to offer us by reading with our minds fully engaged and aware of the historical settings in which the Bible was written as well as the language skills — and sometimes the sense of humor — of the Biblical writers is offered most of the year on Tuesday’s at 10:15 am on Zoom or in-person at the Florence building.
